Founded in 2018, Nelson Scientific Labs is a biomedical research, bioinformatics, and software solutions company headquartered in the Washington, D.C. area. We are built on a culture of scientific integrity, curiosity and collaboration, bringing together molecular scientists, clinicians, bioinformaticians, and research scientists united by a common purpose: transforming complex biological data into meaningful clinical solutions.
What we do
Our work sits at the intersection of multi-omics science, translational research, and precision medicine. We focus on multiple core areas where we believe rigorous, data-driven discovery can have the greatest clinical impact Our mission is two-fold:
Development of kit-based diagnostic and prognostic tools to support individualized clinical decision-making
Development of software platforms and bioinformatics tools for biomarker discovery, multi-omics data integration, and public health analytics
To advance these goals, we foster interdisciplinary collaborations that integrate molecular profiling, clinical chemistry, computational biology, software development, and translational research. Our analytical frameworks are designed from the outset to align with FDA regulatory guidance, supporting a clear path from discovery to validate clinical application.

Bill J Singh,

President and CEO
Mr. Singh is a retired Indian Navy Officer with an extensive background in government contracting and maritime consulting.
He holds a BS in Political Science from Delhi University, India, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Symbiosis Institute of Management in Pune, India. Mr. Singh founded Nelson Scientific Labs LLC in 2018 with a primary goal of translating tests developed in the laboratory to in vitro diagnostics for the health and medicine market.
He currently serves as Nelson’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
